Currently serving as a freight broker and logistics coordinator at Lipsey Logistics, Joseph Didgeon of Chattanooga prepared for his career by earning an associate's degree in business administration from Pellissippi State Community College, where he made the dean's list. Joseph Didgeon went on to study economics and business administration at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. An active student, he participated in multiple sports clubs, such as Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He continued to maintain a relationship with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga after graduating, serving as a macro-economics tutor until joining Lipsey Logistics in summer 2015.
Among his responsibilities at Lipsey Logistics, Mr. Didgeon coordinates freight procedures by working with third-party entities such as shippers and carriers. As freight logistics can be affected by national and international economic developments, he monitors these developments and updates fiscal policies to predict and respond to potential changes. His interests in the financial sector also extend to investment banking, and he actively tracks trends and news in the stock market.
